David's Prayer: 1 Chronicles 29:10-13, 14, 17, 19

"Blessed are you, Lord, God of Israel our father, from eternity to eternity. 11) Yours, Lord, are greatness and might, majesty, victory, and splendor...Please hear our prayer for (N.) and grant this/these requests in accordance with Your will...For all in heaven and on earth is yours; yours, Lord, is kingship; you are exalted as head over all. 12) Riches and glory are from you, and you have dominion over all. In your hand are power and might; it is yours to give greatness and strength to all. 13) Therefore, our God, we give you thanks and we praise the majesty of your name. 14) But who am I, and who are my people, that we should have the means to give so freely? For everything is from you, and what we give is what we have from you. 17) I know, my God, that you put hearts to the test and that you take pleasure in integrity....

Here is where I make the final part of the prayer personal:

... 19) Give to each of us, especially our children, grandchildren, families, and friends and those for whom we are praying a wholehearted desire to keep your commandments, precepts, and statutes, that we may carry out all your plans. Amen.
